The National Council for Children (NCC) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Seychelles, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean with a population of more than 93,000. It has for it’s main mandate the role of promoting and safeguarding the well being and Rights of children. NCC commits itself to promote professional and effective interventions that can help children realise their full potential in a society which respects their rights and dignity, as laid down in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child which has been ratified by the Government of Seychelles.
